Jakarta, Dec. 24 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto witnessed the handover of funds totaling Rp6.62 trillion (approximately US$395 million), derived from administrative penalties for forestry regulation violations and the recovery of assets linked to corruption cases.

Based on ANTARA's observation, President Prabowo promptly approached stacks of Rp100,000 bills in the lobby of a building upon his arrival at the Attorney General's Office (AGO) complex in Jakarta on Wednesday.

In the company of Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, the president was seen conversing with Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin while gazing at the 1.5meter stacks before delivering a speech.
