Jakarta, Dec. 25 -- Indonesia and France have strengthened technical cooperation in civil aviation through the signing of Annex V to their bilateral framework, Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation said in a statement on Thursday.

Lukman F. Laisa, an official at the ministry, said the agreement updates and reinforces the technical cooperation framework to meet the evolving needs of the civil aviation sector.

He said Annex V reflects both countries' commitment to enhancing civil aviation safety and security through stronger oversight capacity, human resource development, and the exchange of expertise and best practices.
