Jakarta, July 29 -- The Indonesian government is currently promoting regenerative tourism, an approach that prioritizes environmental restoration and local community empowerment.
"We are still focusing on promoting the added values that Indonesia has, such as cultural diversity, nature, and quality services that tend to focus more on regenerative tourism," the ministry's deputy of marketing, Ni Made Ayu Marthini, said when contacted by ANTARA on Tuesday.
The Wonderful Indonesia #KeepTheWonder campaign, conducted in 2024, invited tourists to make a positive contribution to efforts to restore and conserve the environment and culture.
