Jakarta, Feb. 18 -- The government has completed the construction of outlets and supporting facilities for 1,000 of over 80,000 cooperatives established under the Red and White Village Cooperatives (KDMP) program, Indonesia's Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono confirmed.
He noted that as of February 2026, the government had commenced physical development of nearly 20 thousand village cooperatives, with progress averaging 20 percent.
"We can expect to see 20,000 cooperatives fully established by May, given the current progress rate of 20 percent," Juliantono remarked at a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday.
