Jakarta, Dec. 24 -- The Indonesian Embassy in London has lodged a formal complaint against adult film actress Tia Emma Billinger after she staged provocative actions in front of the embassy gate that desecrated Indonesia's national flag.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Yvonne Mewengkang said Indonesia regretted the incident, which took place on December 15 and was widely circulated on social media.

"The Indonesian Embassy in London has filed a formal complaint to the British authorities, including the Foreign Office and local police, requesting follow-up actions in accordance with prevailing laws and procedures," she stated on Wednesday.
