Jakarta, Nov. 25 -- Indonesia is exploring opportunities to expand migrant worker placements in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), aligning with a national goal to deploy 500,000 workers abroad by 2026.
"We have been assigned an ambitious target by the President through the Quick Win program to place 500,000 migrant workers in 2026. The UAE is among the priority countries that can significantly contribute to this goal," Deputy Minister for Migrant Worker Protection Christina Aryani said in Jakarta on Monday.
