Jakarta, Dec. 24 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology has unveiled plans to align universities with global labor market needs by preparing graduates to become skilled migrant workers.
Minister Brian Yuliarto said the initiative will guide higher education and vocational campuses to design curricula tailored to international job demands, strengthen foreign language proficiency, and provide certification to ensure graduates meet global standards.
The program will use data from the Ministry of the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) to map required skills and connect qualified graduates with overseas opportunities.
