Bandung, West Java, July 1 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Industry is partnering with several universities, including Padjadjaran University (Unpad), to accelerate the transition to a green industrial sector.

This initiative supports national targets of achieving net-zero emissions by 2060 and a net-zero industrial sector by 2050, Deputy Minister of Industry Faisol Riza said in Bandung, West Java, on Tuesday.

He emphasized that universities play a vital role in strengthening the green industry ecosystem, encouraging students to contribute through innovation and by raising awareness about sustainable industrial practices.
