Jakarta, July 2 -- Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri met with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon to discuss enhancing trade between the two countries.

During the bilateral meeting held in Wellington, New Zealand, on Tuesday, Putri emphasized the importance of long-term cooperation between Indonesia and New Zealand, not only in trade and investment but also in the fields of education, innovation, and cultural diplomacy.

"We aim to improve bilateral relations between the two countries through a shared commitment to developing inclusive and sustainable regional cooperation," the deputy minister noted in a statement on Wednesday.
