Jakarta, July 9 -- The Ministry for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (KP2MI) discussed the potential for skilled migrant worker placements in Qatar during a meeting with representatives of the Qatari Ministry of Labour here on Wednesday.
"We have discussed several important points, both with Qatar and the Indonesian government. The key points relate to competency development, placement systems, and so on," Deputy P2MI Minister Dzulfikar Ahmad Tawalla said after the meeting.
He informed that the Qatari representatives sought to clarify cooperation in the placement of Indonesian migrant workers.
