Jakarta, July 29 -- The Ministry of Culture held a series of strategic meetings with ambassadors from Cyprus, Ethiopia, and Argentina to explore cooperation in the field of culture.

Minister of Culture Fadli Zon began by discussing the establishment of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Cyprus Ambassador Nicholas Panayiotou to enhance cultural cooperation between Indonesia and Cyprus.

"Indonesia and Cyprus can strengthen cooperation through an MoU as an initial step for collaboration in various areas of cultural heritage," Minister Zon noted in a press statement here on Tuesday.

Ambassador Panayiotou emphasized that culture is a vital sector composed of various traditions.
