Jakarta, Feb. 4 -- Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana stated that Indonesia recorded 15.39 million foreign tourist arrivals in 2025, surpassing the government's target of 14-15 million.
"With an actual achievement of 15.39 million, we have exceeded our target and performed better than our previous projections," she said during a meeting with Commission VII of the House of Representatives (DPR) in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Based on foreign tourist arrival figures for 2025, Malaysia was the largest contributor to national tourism revenue, while the United Arab Emirates recorded the highest growth in tourist visits to Indonesia.
