Jakarta, May 2 -- Indonesia's Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi ensured that preparations for all transportation support for the departure of 2025 Hajj pilgrims have been completed.
"The Transportation Ministry had prepared the (necessary) support for Hajj pilgrims' departure," he noted in a statement on Friday.
Purwagandhi announced that three airlines -- Garuda Indonesia, Saudi Airlines, and Lion Air -- are providing transportation for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims this year.
Garuda Indonesia has readied 13 aircraft to serve departures and returns from the Aceh, Medan, Solo, Balikpapan, Makassar, Lombok embarkation points, and part of the Jakarta-Pondok Gede embarkation.
