Jakarta, March 20 -- The Indonesian government is employing various strategies to ensure that mobile networks and telecommunications connectivity remain optimal during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr and Nyepi holidays, a minister stated.

In a press conference on Thursday, Minister of Communications and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid noted that the government is partnering with mobile network operators to ensure reliable networks.

"The government and all mobile network operators have agreed to provide support to the entire community through discounted Ramadan and Eid packages of up to 50 percent," she explained.
