Jakarta, Nov. 28 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) pledged ongoing support for its citizens after a major fire at Wang Fuk Court Apartments in Hong Kong killed 94 people.

P2MI Minister Mukhtarudin urged migrant workers abroad to prioritize safety, follow building renovation rules, and maintain insurance and employment registration, in a press release Friday (Nov. 28).

The fire on Wednesday (Nov. 26) claimed four Indonesian migrant workers: two died and two were injured, the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. Mukhtarudin extended condolences to the victims' families.
