Jakarta, Nov. 21 -- Indonesia's top infrastructure minister said on Friday the government has ensured full readiness of transport facilities ahead of the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year travel surge.

Infrastructure and Regional Development Coordinating Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said strong infrastructure support is essential to keep travel flows safe, comfortable and smooth during the peak holiday period.

He said the government has checked and prepared all transport infrastructure under his ministry to ensure it can accommodate the expected increase in passenger movement. AHY said ports and roll-on/roll-off ferry services have been optimized to handle a potential spike in holiday traffic across major routes.
