Jakarta, Aug. 15 -- Indonesia has not engaged in any talks with Israel regarding the Zionist plan to permanently resettle Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to other countries, according to the Foreign Ministry.

"There are no talks with Israel," the ministry's new spokesperson, Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela, stated in his written remarks here on Thursday.

The spokesperson's remarks refuted Israeli media reports about negotiations with Indonesia on the matter. Indonesia was named among the five countries and territories approached by the Zionist regime, aside from Uganda, South Sudan, and Libya.
