Jakarta, Jan. 8 -- The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has emphasized that all online gaming platforms must comply with child protection regulations in the digital space.

This includes strengthening age verification systems, limiting interactive features, and implementing effective content moderation.

"The government stresses that every platform is obliged to uphold child protection regulations, including stronger age verification, restrictions on interactive features, and effective content moderation," said Director General of Digital Space Oversight at the Ministry Alexander Sabar in Jakarta on Thursday.

Alexander noted that many underage users continue to access online games by using their parents' identities.
