Jakarta, July 4 -- Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Pratikno, stated that Indonesia continues to push for human-centered artificial intelligence (AI) development.
"This is not merely about automating for efficiency but rather about strengthening and elevating human values and capabilities," he noted in a statement here on Thursday.
Pratikno explained that Indonesia does not aim solely for efficiency but also prioritizes the strengthening of noble values and humanity, even as AI is utilized in various aspects of life.
Pratikno also assessed that AI is no longer just a concept of the future but is already present in everyday life and transforming the way humans work, think, and live.
