Jakarta, Dec. 16 -- The Indonesian team has emerged as the overall champion of wushu at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, after bagging a total of nine medals, comprising five gold, three silver, and one bronze.

With this achievement, the team managed to keep their overall champion title, having won it in the preceding SEA Games edition as well.

"I am happy and touched that I could contribute a gold medal to the Indonesian contingent. Moreover, this is my debut in an international multi-event," Indonesian wushu athlete Patricia Geraldine said in an official statement on Tuesday.
