Jakarta, July 24 -- Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated that the exemption from the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) regulation will apply only to specific products from the United States.

These products include information and communications technology (ICT), data centers, and medical device components.

"They must still comply with import regulations set by the relevant ministries and meet certification requirements from health authorities such as the FDA (Food and Drug Administration)," Hartarto said during a press conference on Thursday.
