Jakarta, Jan. 5 -- The Health Ministry has sent a second batch of volunteers, comprising 366 healthcare professionals, to provide medical treatment and healthcare services to people in Aceh Province affected by floods and landslides.
The ministry's Head of the Health Policy Development Agency (BKPK), Asnawi Abdullah, said on Monday that the volunteers will serve from January 5 to 18, 2026.
"The main focus of this mission is to ensure that health services run optimally, whether in hospitals, public health centers, or healthcare units in shelters and affected areas," Abdullah said.
