Banda Aceh, Aceh, Feb. 1 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Aceh Health Office, has deployed 396 additional backup healthcare personnel to areas hit by recent floods and landslides in Aceh.
Acting Head of the Aceh Health Office Ferdiyus said on Sunday that the teams will work for 14 days in eight affected districts and cities.
He explained that since the emergency response period, more than 1,200 healthcare personnel from the Ministry of Health and the Aceh Health Office have been deployed across the province.
Speaking at the send-off ceremony, he expressed gratitude for the support of all parties throughout the emergency response and post-disaster recovery phases.
