Tangerang, June 30 -- Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) Minister Abdul Kadir Karding urged South Korean authorities to conduct an investigation into a work accident that claimed the life of Ngadiman, an Indonesian citizen from Cilacap, Central Java.
"We will certainly push for legal procedures there. In essence, the state is present to handle this case," he remarked in Tangerang, Banten, on Sunday (June 29).
Karding explained that the government, through the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul, has requested South Korean law enforcement and the victim's employer to conduct a thorough investigation, including looking into possible negligence.
