Jakarta, April 17 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Religious Affairs has confirmed that dormitories across the country are fully prepared to support citizens participating in this year's Hajj pilgrimage.
"Hajj dormitories across Indonesia have been fully prepared for use following health inspections," said Hilman Latief, the ministry's Director General of Hajj and Umrah, during a meeting with Commission VIII of the House of Representatives (DPR) in Jakarta on Thursday.
He noted that the government has ensured all facilities are equipped to provide adequate meals and special care for elderly pilgrims and people with disabilities.
