Jakarta, May 23 -- Indonesia has strongly condemned the Zionist forces for firing "warning shots" at a group of foreign diplomats in the West Bank, Palestine, describing the incident as a product of "years of impunity enjoyed by Israel."

The diplomats were shot at while they were on an official tour hosted by the Palestinian authorities to observe conditions in West Bank's Jenin city on Wednesday.

"This is yet another unacceptable display of complete disregard for international law by Israel -- an injustice Palestinians endured daily in their homeland," the Indonesian Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday.
