Jakarta, July 26 -- Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan affirmed the government's commitment to resolving Indonesia's mounting waste problem within two years through the waste-to-energy (WTE) or waste-to-electricity (PSEL) program.
Speaking at the Indonesia Net-Zero Summit 2025 here on Saturday, Hasan remarked that President Prabowo Subianto is deeply concerned about Indonesia's waste situation, including massive waste accumulation at the Bantargebang Waste Processing Site, which reportedly reaches the height of a 20-story building.
