Jakarta, Jan. 24 -- The Indonesian contingent had collected a total of 213 medals by the third day of the 2025 ASEAN Para Games in Thailand as of Thursday, January 23, consisting of 69 gold, 75 silver, and 69 bronze medals, with para swimming and para athletics contributing the most medals.
Indonesian Chef de Mission Reda Manthovani said the achievement exceeded the contingent's initial target, particularly in terms of gold medals, which had been set at 43 by the third day of the competition.
"A total of 11 sports have contributed medals and met the target, with the largest contributions coming from para athletics, para swimming, and para table tennis," Manthovani said during a press conference monitored on Saturday.
