Jakarta, Dec. 2 -- The Indonesian government said it continues to deliver aid by air to isolated communities in flood-hit regions following reports of looting in Sibolga, North Sumatra.

Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf said on Tuesday that the situation at the Bulog warehouse was not looting but the distribution of aid to disaster victims.

He said BNPB had clarified that the delivery faced obstacles, including difficult terrain that required air support.

Yusuf said the government has deployed all available resources in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, involving BNPB, the military, police, and state-owned companies.
