Nganjuk, E Java, Dec. 28 -- East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa announced the construction of the Marsinah National Hero Museum in Nganjuk District.

The museum is designed to educate younger generations about the values, courage, and justice championed by Marsinah, a labor activist recognized as a national hero in Indonesia.

"What we are building is not just a physical structure, but a space of values. Here, young people can learn about courage, honesty, and standing for justice, as exemplified by Marsinah," Khofifah said in a statement on Sunday.

She emphasized that the museum and accompanying shelter house will serve as a center for preserving and sharing Marsinah's legacy.
