Jakarta, Nov. 23 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening discipline and integrity in transportation services by preventing illegal levies and increasing supervision to ensure public safety ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays.

"We prioritize discipline in public services, particularly at terminals and in the land transportation sector, ensuring integrity and preventing illegal levies," the minister said in a statement on Sunday.

Purwagandhi conveyed the commitment during a meeting with Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian to prepare for Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 transportation services.
