Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- Indonesia is ramping up efforts to strengthen public oversight and prevent budget misuse, in line with President Prabowo Subianto's directive and the country's push to meet global integrity standards set by the OECD.

As part of this effort, the government hosted the National Oversight & Integrity Forum 2025 on Monday (Sept. 22), aiming to generate actionable recommendations to improve oversight systems and public trust.

"We hope this forum becomes a space for oversight actors to exchange ideas, sharpen policies, and build public confidence," said Erwan Agus Purwanto, a deputy at the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, on Wednesday.
