Jakarta, Dec. 1 -- The Social Affairs Minister, Saifullah Yusuf, ensured that all aid from the Social Affairs Ministry reached every evacuation shelter in flood-affected areas in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

The Minister, while accompanying President Prabowo Subianto on a visit to the flood site in Central Tapanuli, North Sumatra, on Monday, stated that the central and regional governments were working together to distribute the basic needs for affected residents.

"We are ensuring that the evacuees receive adequate assistance," he said, according to a statement received in Jakarta.
