Jakarta, Oct. 14 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital, in collaboration with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), has blocked 23,929 bank accounts linked to online gambling transactions as part of a nationwide crackdown, Minister Meutya Hafid said on Tuesday.
"This action is part of our firm commitment to eradicate online gambling, which harms the public and the economy. We want to ensure that all financial flows from illegal activities like online gambling are completely cut off," Hafid said in a statement.
