Jakarta, Dec. 4 -- The government has begun preparations for the rehabilitation and reconstruction process to restore the lives of communities affected by the floods in Sumatra.
The recovery and rebuilding efforts are scheduled to take place over a 100-day period.
"Preparations for the rehabilitation and reconstruction phase have been completed. The target is 100 days, with a one-year timeline for the public to monitor measurable progress," Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno said on Thursday.
He emphasized that, in line with President Prabowo Subianto's directive, the state must be present and support communities recovering from this difficult situation.
