Jakarta, July 4 -- The Indonesian National Police ( Polri ) contingent has so far won 45 medals at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) in Birmingham, Alabama, the United States, which will end on July 6.

As of Thursday, the Indonesian team's medal tally has reached 22 gold, nine silver, and 14 bronze medals, according to head of the Polri's public information bureau, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.

"So far, our highest contributing sports are judo, cycling, and taekwondo, each delivering gold medals for Indonesia," he informed in a statement released in Jakarta on Friday.

He said that the achievement has brought pride and honor to the nation and the police institution.
