Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- President Prabowo Subianto has expressed his intention to strengthen cooperation with South Africa-particularly ahead of its upcoming G20 Presidency in 2025-including fostering closer people-to-people relations through a mutual visa-free arrangement.
Speaking at a joint press conference with South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, President Prabowo underscored his commitment to implementing the cooperation agreements by sending technical teams and delegations to discuss concrete programs with South Africa.
"We also hope to build closer cooperation in people-to-people exchanges, including through a mutual visa-free arrangement," President Prabowo said.
