Bandung, Nov. 7 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Culture has distributed Rp465 billion (around US$28 million) in funding to some 2,800 arts and culture communities nationwide this year to help build a stronger and more sustainable cultural ecosystem.

Speaking at a public service festival involving cultural tourism actors in Bandung, West Java, on Friday, Culture Minister Fadli Zon noted that his ministry has rolled out several relevant initiatives, including the Learning With Maestros and Artists Go to Schools programs.
