Jakarta, March 12 -- Indonesia welcomes continued support from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in maintaining economic and fiscal stability, Deputy Finance Minister Anggito Abimanyu stated after meeting with IMF Resident Representative for Indonesia Dennis Botman here, March 11.

"We welcome the visit from Dennis Botman, who represents the IMF. We are very open to closer cooperation and technical assistance from experts at the IMF," Anggito noted.

In the meeting, Anggito and Botman discussed various strategic issues, such as global political developments, as well as current fiscal policies and global economic challenges that could impact the national economy.
