Indonesia, Nov. 2 -- Indonesia has announced that it will implement new climbing fees for Mount Rinjani in West Nusa Tenggara province, effective November 3, 2025.

"For visitors who have reserved their tickets before that date, the old rates will still apply," Mount Rinjani National Park Office Head Yarman stated in a written statement on Saturday.

He affirmed that the fee adjustments are intended to support improvements in services, conservation efforts, and sustainable management at Mount Rinjani National Park.
