Jakarta, Jan. 22 -- Indonesia has announced its decision to join the Board of Peace for Gaza, an initiative launched by United States President Donald Trump to support recovery efforts and realize stability in Palestine.
The decision was announced in a joint statement by the foreign ministers of Indonesia and seven Arab-Islamic countries, namely Turkiye, Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, as published by Indonesia's Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
"The Ministers announce their countries' shared decision to join the Board of Peace," the joint statement read.
Each country, including Indonesia, will sign the accession documents according to its "respective relevant legal and other necessary procedure...
