Jakarta, March 13 -- Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto sought to enhance cooperation in the higher education sector between the governments of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.

"We are committed to expanding the scope of cooperation between universities in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, aiming to deepen our collaboration," he noted in a statement received from his office here on Thursday.

During a meeting with Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Indonesia, ASEAN, and Timor-Leste, Faisal Abdullah H. Amodi, in Jakarta on Wednesday, Yuliarto proposed plans for cooperation in various initiatives, including collaboration between academicians and mutually beneficial research projects.
