Jakarta, Nov. 2 -- Indonesia, represented by former Vice President Jusuf Kalla, Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar, and business leader Arsjad Rasjid, promoted dialogue, tolerance, and social justice at the Daring Peace - International Meeting for Peace 2025 in Rome on October 27.
The three speakers offered complementary perspectives on politics, spirituality, and economics, reflecting Indonesia's pluralistic society and commitment to human-centered dialogue.
Jusuf Kalla, who served as Indonesia's 10th and 12th vice president and is known for mediating conflicts in Poso and Aceh, said peace goes beyond the absence of war.
