Jakarta, Nov. 8 -- Indonesia's Forestry Ministry delegation met with Verra, a global nonprofit that develops standards for sustainable development projects, during the 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belem, Brazil, to discuss opportunities in the voluntary carbon market.

Forestry Minister's Senior Advisor Edo Mahendra said in an official statement in Jakarta on Saturday that the ministry is drafting new ministerial regulations to accommodate voluntary carbon trading under Presidential Regulation No. 110 of 2025.
