Jakarta, April 21 -- The Indonesian government and the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) agreed to immediately discuss tariff negotiations intensively and prepare a cooperation framework within the next 60 days.

This agreement was reached on Sunday during a ministerial meeting between the Indonesian delegation, led by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, and the USTR, led by Ambassador Jamieson Greer, in Washington, D.C.

"At the technical level, we immediately worked quickly to carry out a technical meeting with the USTR team," Hartarto noted in a statement on Monday.
