Jakarta, Aug. 28 -- The Indonesian Air Force, together with the US Air Force and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF), conducted a parachute training exercise simulating the capture of an enemy-held airport.

In a statement on Thursday, the Air Force explained that the simulation was part of the Super Garuda Shield (SGS) 2025 Multinational Joint Exercise.

Head of the Indonesian Air Force Information Office, Air Commodore I Nyoman Suadnyana, said the exercise took place on Wednesday (August 27) at Drop Zone BR 45 of the Indonesian Army Combat Training Center in Baturaja, South Sumatra.
