Belem, Brazil, Nov. 18 -- Indonesia's Environment Minister Hanif Faisol Nurofiq signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with UK Minister for Nature Mary Creagh on Monday to strengthen bilateral efforts to reduce plastic pollution and improve environmental management.
"This MoU strengthens the collaboration we have undertaken. Among other initiatives, we will push for plastic waste reduction and commit to handling peatland management," Nurofiq said during a bilateral meeting at the 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belem.
