Jakarta, Feb. 26 -- The governments of Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) engaged in a discussion to explore the potential for strategic cooperation in the field of aviation.

The discussion took place when Indonesian Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi received a visit from UAE Ambassador to Indonesia Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri at the headquarters of the Transportation Ministry in Jakarta on Tuesday (February 25).

"This meeting touched upon the potential for strategic cooperation between Indonesia and the UAE, with a special focus on the aviation sector," Purwagandhi noted in his ministry's statement received here on Wednesday.
