Jakarta, April 9 -- Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced eight bilateral cooperation agreements following a meeting between their presidents, Prabowo Subianto and Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, on Wednesday.
The agreements, which include memorandums of understanding (MoUs), are split between government-to-government, business-to-business, and government-to-business deals.
In a press release issued in Jakarta, President Prabowo's secretariat informed that the agreements will serve as a foundation for collaboration in multiple fields, including energy transition, food security, security and counterterrorism, trade and economy, and religious affairs.
