Ankara, Turkiye, Jan. 9 -- Indonesia's foreign ministry said it has finalized preparations with Turkiye ahead of the inaugural "2+2" meeting between the two countries' foreign and defense ministers in Ankara on Friday.

The 2+2 talks follow up on agreements reached under the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.

Foreign Ministry Americas and Europe Director General Grata Endah Werdaningtyas said preparations were completed during a final coordination meeting with Turkiye's Asia-Pacific Director General Korkut Gungen.
